Open day is a day for Free stuff. Oh... and the info sessions... @ 8:33 PM

Adding on to JM’s blog about today, I did drag JM and EL over to my lab area twice to see if Todd was there.

He wasn't. How depressing!!

Oh well.

The freebies we got were awesome. I got like five pens, 2 rulers, lanyard, t-shirt, a cow keychain [yeah I know, wtf?], a bouncy ball I made [=O] and a phone sock-cover-thing? I was grabbing things like mad, and JM and EL were amazed at my nerve. ROFLOL.

Anyway, my funnies of the day was when one of the guides came up to me and EL [as we waited for JM to arrive] and said:

“Hey, are you guys alright? You look a little lost there...”

Us: Yeah, we’re fine, thanks! Just waiting for a friend to arrive.

Him: Oh okay, no worries! So what courses do you think you wanna do?

Us: ERRRRRRRMMMMMMM.............. WELL...

EL: *looks at me*

Me: To tell you the truth..... we already are in uni...

Him: *laughs* Ah! That’s okay, just go in to get all the free stuff! I mean it gives you your whole stationary supplies for the whole year! Even two! That’s what I’m here for. See this jumper? *points to his bright blue guide’s jumper* FREE!

LOL he was nice.

Oh and it occurred to me later that he was the tour guide I had on enrolment day. No wonder he seemed so familiar!

There was also the stuff JM said like the "Are there freebies?" "Yes. You can get a t-shirt-" "WOOOOOOO" *runs* which was quite funny. A little embarrasing though. *facepalm*

Then there was the stuff like making edible worms in the engineering area, and I made superlong ones which everyone kept looking at. We kept it in a cup, and it looked like goo. Imagine EL walking around campus with a cup of goo. LOL.

Oh and there were these explosions in the engineering area, and we jumped every time it happened.

Overall, pretty good day. And I just realised there was no highlighters. Aren’t there always highlighters? And I didn’t get any post-its or note pads! GARGH!

LOL oh well. Thanks to EL and JM for coming with me! =D

Oh and by the way, we’d appreciate it if any of you readers leave a comment, it just lets us know how our blogging is going. Is it good?
