Today, after work, my sister alerted me to the nearby moon and how it was nearly an eclipse. At first I didn't take much notice of it because I prefer full moons instead. However, a friend of mine suddenly tells me that venus was very close and hence the stars around the moon were really bright. Excited..I went outside, in the freezing cold with only my work attire...and searched for the moon.

After 5 mins of running around the house, I couldn't see the moon anywhere =[. My mum and sister was right behind me trying to find it too. Then my mum goes

"maybe the wind blew the moon away"

Me and my sister: ...? *laughs

Apparently she was meant to say that the clouds were covering it, but said that instead x]. Ahh my mum.
